Yesterday Auntie M came home. She was gone all week! When she came home she had her granddaughter Paylee with her. I only jumped on Paylee once. (Just to greet her) She wanted to play with me, but wasn't sure what to do, so I just sort of stayed quiet and looked at her. I was very nice to her, 'cuz she's only two years old.
Later on Auntie M made potato soup! Any Pug would have gone a bit crazy with that wonderful pork shank smell filling the air- for hours! I didn't beg, nor did I whimper! I sat quietly staring at Auntie M. Yep- I was so good she gave me a bit of pork! Yum! We had company for dinner, and I minded my manners then too! Auntie M mentioned to Owner Mama that I may be maturing a bit, to which Owner Mama replied "I wouldn't count on it!"
So- today I scrapped the halo! It's raining, so no walk. Auntie M seems too busy to give me much attention. Hmmm. She loves her plants. Maybe if I pull a few down from the stairway shelf -ya, that would get her attention! (Got caught before I did more than scratch the wall a bit!)
After Owner Mama scolded me thoroughly, she decided a nap time story would settle me down! I am pretty tired. That "Angelic" act was EXHAUSTING!!
