Marcy's Animal Blog- A Trio Of Tails! Ruby Speaks First!!

Hello, out there! As senior member of the "canine" part of this family- I think I should be the spokesperson -er-spokesdog. My name is Ruby. I am a 3 year old Beagle, and oldest of the pack.

Next in line is Ricco. He's a Chihuahua- 2 years old, and pretty much my buddy.

That brings me to the latest addition to the pack! Blu!

Blu is basically a baby! She's  months old, and already bigger than me- but doesn't have the wisdom and maturity of a full grown yet! So- she's a LOT of work!

Blu is a Weimaraner, and full grown she's going to be--how do I say it--TALL!

You'll hear from the others  at a later date.  The three of us make an interesting pack!

Ricco and I are still adjusting to the "baby Blu", and there are times we both look for places for an extra nap!

That doesn't always mean we are on our own, though. When Blu decides to be part of nap time, she's part of nap time!

Our owners have two pups of their own- a boy and a girl- only in human terms I guess you call them "children or kids". We do enjoy being around the children. When Blu first came, both Ricco and I felt a bit left out! How does one compete with a puppy?! The kids paid her a lot of attention that use to go to us. But now we're back in the attention and graces of all again. (Whew!)

Meanwhile, keeping Blu's play at a "gentle level" is getting pretty exhausting!

Here's Baby Blu in July. Her baby teeth were a bit sharp!!

This is not a great picture, but note the size difference! This was taken in September!

She sees me as a live stuffed toy! Help!

The bottom line? Sometimes I just need to rest! Indoor or outdoor, when this Beagle is tuckered out- I nap! My buddy Ricco stays close at hand.

Our owners are doing a good job training her. She still is very young, though, so has a lot to learn!

Guess I'll take another quick snooze before play time starts again.

Auntie M has recently spent some time with the three of us, and seems very interested in our individual stories! So, look for the other two having their say in the near future!

Incase you're wondering what I'm thinking in this picture, it can only be one of two things! It was either "food", or maybe my second heart's desire- "another nap"!!

I'll be looking forward to telling you more adventures as Ricco and I guide "not so" little Blu through adolescence into adult canine hood!

Thanks for joining me! You'll be seeing more of us soon!

Happy Tails To You!
