Sir Dudley The Pug - Life Is Just A Walk In The Park!!

Here I am again! You folks miss me? Auntie M's been staying with a couple of Golden's and a cat! I understand that their owners are on vacation, but I can't help but have my Pug nose a bit out of joint!! After all, don't I deserve to have my daily walk and brush down too?
I believe she's been trying to make it up to me. For instance, Owner Mama and Auntie M took me to Kensington Park today! I get excited just going for a car ride! But to actually go to the park- ah, hog (Pug) heaven!

Every time the car would stop, even at a stop sign, I started whining with excitement! I just couldn't help it! At one point Auntie M saw something pretty and said "Aw!" I did my best to make the same sound! Both Mama and Auntie M laughed with surprise! I'm not sure why. Guess they don't realize that I understand, I just speak better Canine than human!

We'd stopped at a spot, Auntie M would get out and take pictures. Mama would take me out of the car and we'd walk. Auntie M would get back in the car, so we did too. We'd drive a bit. Auntie M would get out of the car and take pictures. Mama and I would get out and walk a bit, Auntie M would get back in the car, so we did too! That's pretty much how the afternoon went! I didn't mind. I LOVED sniffing each new place we stopped!

It was VERY windy! Auntie M took a picture of one particular tree that was really wind blown to show what the weather was like. I didn't mind! Mama wore a hoody and I wore my fur coat!

At one point in my sniffing, I got tangled up in a small tree branch with dried leaves on it! Mama and Auntie M thought it looked like I had a new fall hat!

We stopped at a place I couldn't go to, a Farm Center. Auntie was worried that I'd do something BAD to the car while they were gone. I was sitting in the back seat- like a Pug angel when they returned. Both Mama and Auntie M let out a big sigh of relief!

It's hard to stay in the car, all alone. At the end of the afternoon they went into a restaurant. Don't worry. I didn't do anything wrong. But I did get into the front seat to look for them. I thought of laying on the horn, but wasn't sure how to do that. Eventually they came out. Auntie M gave me a couple of pieces of chicken breast for being so good. At least that's what she said. But then she left to be with those "other" animals. So, maybe it was a way to for her to ease her guilt!

All in all, a very satisfactory day! This Pug needs to find a way to get more car rides and park walks! Maybe next time Auntie and Mama will let me chase the ducks! Ya think?
