Ellie the Protector!

Hi! I'm Ellie! I'm the Golden Retriever with the curly hair and grey face. I am the self appointed protector of the property! In truth, things usually get a bit dull around here. I usually end up barking at passing cars, people jogging by, in fact almost ANYTHING that passes by.
   I'm on an electric fence, so I don't leave my yard without my owners or Auntie M- but that doesn't stop me from scaring the bejeebers out of folks.


   I LOVE meal time! In fact, I usually leap up and down when the meal's about to be put in front of me!! I also love Auntie M brushing me! It feels so good, I almost purr! I've become good friends with the newest member of our household, the cat named Mowgli! She comes and cuddles with me sometimes! I always bark to Auntie M when Mowgli's outside, wanting to come in.




  My sister, Matty is of course my friend. I love to wrestle with her, though that usually consists of Matty rolling on her back while I do all the wrestling.




 I also love going for walks. I'm getting a bit old now for long walks. Auntie M insists on me walking next to her, where I prefer doing the leading- so we do struggle a bit for that position. Man- Auntie M's tough that way! Oh, well. She feeds me well, gives us our medications, and brushes us every day, so I guess I can put up with her "leader of the pack" thing. Stay tuned. I'm sure there will be more adventures in this house. Every day there's something new! Today Mowgli brought Auntie M a dead mouse! Not sure what Mowgli thought Auntie M would do with it, but the thought was there, just the same!
