Marcy's Animal Blog- Saying Goodbye To West Coast Kenny! (For Now)

From Auntie M herself: West Coast Kenny, the California Canine has been a joy to know!

"You're NOT the boss of me!" was exactly what he was thinking!

Even though he wasn't fond of me trying to be another "leader of the pack", he was in all ways a gentleman and a gentle old soul!

The following are some of my favorite photo memories. They don't do justice to his wonderful temperment and gentle ways, but they may give a bit of insight to his total devotion to his wonderful owner Mama Phyllis!

Posing for pictures at the Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve

Looking for Owner Mama Phyllis while she was at the grocery.

Enjoying one of his many sleeping areas. (Note the pillow!)

Kenny loves his "sunset walks" with Mama Phyllis!

Kenny tolerates his coat- it keeps the chill off!

This almost looks like a Monet painting.

More beach time- no leash is needed with Kenny!

Sitting for yet another photo shoot at the Cold Spring Tavern.

He sure seems focused on the photographer (Mama)!

Climbing for a hilltop view seemed no problem!

Patiently waiting for Mama Phyllis at the Bridlewood Winery

His bunny makes a perfect pillow!

Walking the tide pools at Rincon Beach.

Tolerating his "Holiday coat" and photo shoot.

I know he was praying this was the last of the photos!

He does look rather dapper in his bowtie, and I believe he thinks so too!

Resting on Mama's bed is a favorite pasttime.

Wishing all a Merry Christmas.

I'm hoping Kenny stays healthy and strong for all his years, so that I may enjoy his company when next I visit! So, THAT'S my Christmas wish for dear West Coast Kenny! And THANK YOU, Kenny for your wonderful company!
